Workshop with International Sports Innovation Network (Germany)

Sasakawa Sports Foundation (SSF) welcomed International Sports Innovation Network (SINN-i) at its office on 24th October to exchange knowledge and project ideas for further strengthen of Sport for All movement.

Mr. Kazutoshi Watanabe, SSF President gave an opening remark by explaining the current situation in Japan briefly. Following it, Max Tamazawa, SSF Managing Director, TAFISA Board of Director & Board member of TAFISA-JAPAN facilitated the meeting and delivered a presentation. The concept of “Regional Sport Management Organization (RSMO)” policy proposal by SSF and its pilot implementation project in Kakuda City (Miyagi Prefecture, Japan) were highlighted in his presentation.

Dr. Eckehard Fozzy Moritz, representing SINN-i illustrated its projects overall and the future scope of them. Especially, “Joy of Movement Pioneer (JOMP)”, one of SINN-i's new initiatives which is collaborated with TAFISA to accelerate physical activities among people was stressed. After exchanging introductory presentations from each side, SSF and SINN-i discussed the ideas about the future collaboration. The workshop was a good opportunity for both sides to learn new idea of promoting Sport for All in each country.
