The joys and challenges of the world’s biggest sporting event

The 2020 Games are the second Tokyo is hosting after a hiatus of 57 years, but they are unprecedented in being held during a pandemic. Because of the great sacrifices made and challenges overcome in organizing the event, the joys will be that much greater, especially for those who helped make it happen. The Sasakawa Sports Foundation interviewed several key figures on the meaning of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the legacy they will leave in helping change society for the better.
