The Sasakawa Sports Foundation’s White Paper on Sport in Japan 2020 received a mention on the newly launched English Japan SPorts business INitiative (JSPIN) website.
The Japan SPorts business INitiative (JSPIN) platform by Japan’s Sports Agency to support the further international expansion of the country’s sports industry. The English JSPIN website, launched on November 28, aims to provide useful information to companies inside and outside Japan seeking to expand globally, and to connect Japanese and international sports industry networks.
JSPIN’s English website includes a short writeup of the Sasakawa Sports Foundation’s SSF publishes a White Paper on Sport in Japan every three years, and the 2020 edition includes contributions from over 70 researchers and practitioners based on the latest data from Japan and abroad. In addition to advanced case studies useful for academic research and business, the report also includes up-to-date information about the current situation of Japanese sports. SSF’s White Paper on Sport in Japan 2023 is scheduled for publication next year.
