The 27th TAFISA World Congress 2022 was held in Portorož, Slovenia on 8th-12th June 2022 under the theme of “Sport for All in a Changing World”.
Max TAMAZAWA, Managing Director of Sasakawa Sports Foundation (SSF) was elected as one of the TAFISA Board of Directors during the General Assembly of TAFISA on 10th June.
In The history, he is the 3rd Japanese who would contribute to Sport for All movement as a TAFISA Board of Director, following 2 outstanding predecessors; Mr. Takashi Aoki (1991 – 1997) and Prof. Dr. Yasuo Yamaguchi (2009 - 2022).
Mr. Wolfgang Bauman (Germany), the former Secretary General is now leading TAFISA as the newly elected TAFISA President together with 12 Board of Directors from each continent till 2025.
Taking a role of “bridge” between Asia and the world, SSF and Max will commit to building a society where everyone can enjoy the values of sports.
